High School Running Back rushes for 419 yards on only 12 Carries

Riverside HS (Durham, NC) Joel Evans rushed for 419 yards and six scores in a 63-49 win over Cleveland (Clayton, N.C.). That’s 34.9 yards per carry. Just 5-foot-6 and 175 pounds, Evans scored on runs of 66, 36, 43, 81, 67 and 56 yards.

Evans has rushed for 1,229 yards and 13 touchdowns on 131 carries (9.4 yards per carry) through six games.
