The Florida Dairy Farmers’ Assoc. named Remi Pimm the 2014 “Mr. Soccer”. Pimm was the top offensive player on the North Suncoast. Pimm led Florida in scoring with 64 goals, and has the county record of 167 points and 39 assists. Pimm, a Sunlake sophomore, was previously chosen as the Class 3A Player of the Year.

For the second consecutive year, members of the Santa Margarita Ice Hockey team delivered Christmas trees to Marine families at Camp Pendleton. Laguna Hills High School Golfing athlete, Carlye Cunningham, displays an exceptional work ethic on and off the field with a 4.30 GPA. Cunnigham’s classes include Honors Humanities, Anatomy, and Statistics, and is the class vice president, president of the school’s Best Buddies Club, and a member of the California Scholastic Federation. Cunningham is also active in the National Charity League.

The Best Buddies is a volunteer program designed to foster one-on-one relationships for people with intellectual and development disabilities. Congratulations to Villa Park senior Garrett Corcoran for his outstanding effort at the 33rd annual Woodbridge/Estancia/Costa Mesa Classic. Corcoran finished the race with the fastest individual time of the meet among all county runners and placed third in his race. Corcoran, who had the lead early, finished in a time of 14:07.
