Seven National Records Go Down at New Balance Nationals 2014

More than 4,000 athletes competed at this year’s New Balance Nationals Indoor track and field meet. Seven national records were shattered during the three-day event, the most ever recorded in a single meet in American track and field history.

Day One

Girls 5,000 Meter Run: Tessa Barrett (16:11.85)

Day Two

Girl’s 4×55 Meter Shuttle Hurdle 5 Flights: Hoover High School (31.35)

Boy’s 4×1 Mile Relay: Christian Brothers Academy (17:07.17)

Girl’s Shot Put: Raven Saunders (56-07.50)

Boy’s Pole Vault: Devin King (17-10.25)

Day Three

Girl’s 60 Meter Hurdles: Dior Hall (8.11)

Girl’s Pole Vault: Desiree Freier (14-2.75)
