Pavin Parrish Named Gatorade Player of the Year as Best Basketball Player in Vermont

Pavin Parrish, a senior from Rochester High School, has been named Gatorade’s Basketball Player of the Year for Vermont.

Rochester High School’s Parrish stands at 5-foot-10 and 160-punds and averaged 31.0 points, 14.5 rebounds, 8.6 assists and 5.2 steals per game. Parrish lead his team to a winning season with a record of 20-3 in Division IV.

Parrish finished his high school career with 2,479 points, which is the most in Vermont history. Parrish was a second-team All-State as a junior and will continue his basketball in college at Castleton State College.
